Cookies on This Site
What the two small cookies on this website do, and how to clear them if you'd rather not keep them.
The Short Version
Two Small Files, Nothing Else
This site sets two cookies, both small and both about how the page behaves rather than who you are — nothing tracks you between visits beyond these two.
One remembers that you've confirmed you're over eighteen, so the age check doesn't reappear every time you open a new page here.
The other remembers that you've seen this cookie notice, so it doesn't pop back up on your next visit.
Age Cookie
Called age18au46, remembers your age confirmation for the visit.
Notice Cookie
Called ckau46, remembers you've read this cookie notice.
What Each One Does
The Two Cookies, in Detail
- age18au46 stores nothing more than a yes to the age question and expires after your browser session ends.
- ckau46 stores your acknowledgement of this notice and lasts up to twelve months.
- Neither cookie is used for advertising, and neither is shared with any other website.
Clearing Them
If You'd Rather Not Keep Them
- Clear cookies through your browser's privacy settings; the age check will simply ask again on your next visit.
- Blocking cookies entirely won't stop you viewing the site, though the age gate will show on every page.
- There is no way to turn off cookies from within this site itself — it's a browser setting only.
